I will never, for the life of me, figure out how a weekend can pass in such a stinkin BLUR and it be Monday, AGAIN.
Already.
There must be some type of time-continuum theory, like a big black hole in space or something, to explain how the weekend can pass at warp speed and the work week [...]

This poor, poor dog.
Lillie is so deprived… she has nothing but this cup to play with anymore.

It took me three tries to leave the house yesterday.
First time, I made it out to the car and realized I’d forgotten my earrings. Now, I know that sounds SILLY but… my hair was pulled up and I can’t stand seeing *unadorned* ears when my hair is up. So, I go back in and grab [...]

I’m wondering….
At what age is it appropriate to let your daughter wear acrylic fingernails, that have to be *filled in* and redone what? weekly or every 10 days or so?  (I’ve never had them so I’m really not sure how much maintenance is involved, but I know there is SOME.)

You can imagine my surprise and major uneasiness when Luby called from her Daddy’s cell phone and said, “Mom, could you come outside a second?”
I said, “Why? What are you doing?”
She said, “Just come outside for a sec, k?”

I was putt-putt-putting along, doing my thing – work, kids, errands, bill-paying, grocery-shopping, dinner-making, yada yada… you know the drill. We all do it. But then… throw Thanksgiving into the mix. And this blasted head cold that I’ve had for nearly a month now…. and what do you get?
Me, a mess.

I had to pick Beebo up from her middle school after a late band practice Monday afternoon. As I was waiting in the hall for her, I saw this on the wall:
