Cherry Mice

We had a little mouse problem at the office on Monday.

YIKES, right?

Who wants to find a mouse at a dental office?

But…. these sure were some

mighty

cute

little

mice.

So cute,

in fact,

I took pictures.

(That doesn’t surprise you, does it? Since I take pictures of EVERthing! lol)

And,

even better,

they are

EDIBLE!

One of our receptionists made these cuties.

A Hershey’s kiss,

a cherry dipped in chocolate,

(using the stem for the tail),

and two almond slivers for ears,

topped off with two gel icing drops for eyes and another for the nose.

Cute, cute, cute.

Needless to say,

they were eaten in a hurry!

(I put mine in a little container to bring home for my family)

But, now I’d like to try to make some myself.

Those are too cute, but no way am I making those, I think that I would eat all the bits and pieces first!

One of the other docents at Ravenswood makes those for the annual Victorian Tea (remember- the one I made 19 dozen scone for ), & they are always the first thing to go

Those are darling! I would love to make them but like Becca, would be too tempted at this point. (Now that I am dieting, I am ravenous for sweets!)
