Chicken Fat

When I was a little girl, I’d get bored sitting in school. I would doodle and draw, I would color in the e’s and o’s in my book, I would chew my fingernails, whatever it took to entertain myself. I can’t remember exactly what age I was, sometime in grade school – when I discovered I had a wad of chicken fat stuck in my hand. Seriously.
Don’t laugh – it’s TRUE!
Look, I’ll show you…… here is my hand. Looks normal, huh?
But when you press down, chicken fat pops out.
Ewwwww. How creepy. Can you do that?

I still have my money on synovial fluid, especially since it occurs at the joint…. but chicken fat sounds more interesting for sure!
