Lucky Dorito

Christmas came early for me this year.

I’ve been saving up all year for one particular item and my darlin’ Mr. Lucky took me to get it one evening last week. A new camera! Wooooohooooooo! (Yeah, I’m a little excited!)

About a gazillion years ago, when I lived in Panama with Suki’s dad, he gave me a Nikon 35mm camera with a couple of lenses and I took some photography classes at the Panama Canal College. It was a great learning experience for me. As my life changed and I found myself back in the States a few years later, I set the camera aside and forgot about it. (Actually, years later – I gave it to Suki when she was in high school.)

Ya’ll know I love to take photos though, with my handy-dandy little point and shoot camera…. and now am going to try to relearn what it all means again – ISO, f-stops, aperture, shutter speeds, yada yada. Thank goodness Lena and Shannon are a step ahead of me so they can teach me!
