Couch potatos

I really don’t have much to say. Oddly unusual, huh? I’ve been off from work since December 24th and have just been a tee-total lazy bum! And LOVING it! lol
I have watched a ton of movies – I’m embarrassed to even tell you the list. But, here goes anyway.
We went to the cinema to see both A Tale of Despereaux (what a sleeper! My hubby and I both dozed through it but the girls liked it) and Marley & Me (take a box of tissues!). At home, we’ve seen:
- I Am Legend (Will Smith)
- Santa Claus 1, 2 and 3 (Tim Allen)
- Traitor (Don Cheadle)
- Eagle Eye (Shia LaBeouf)
- The Women (Meg Ryan)
and several others that I have already forgotten! My goodness, I joke about my short-term memory all the time but it’s TRUE! I can’t even remember what all we’ve seen in just the past week.
I’ve read some books too. Both Twilight and New Moon are finished and I’m anxiously awaiting the next two in the series to arrive from Amazon. I really enjoyed them – if you’ve been holding out, like I did for so long – go ahead. You’ll enjoy them, I bet.
So, although I should probably be cleaning my house and doing all the things I don’t have time for when I am working, I’ve been a lazy-couch-potato-bum. And…. loving every minute of it.

Rebekahon 31 Dec 2008 at 12:07 pm 2I love vacation and being a couch potato! I did go run yesterday AM and went on a walk with Matt this AM- but that’s just because if I keep moving it keeps the scale from moving too much!
We have enjoyed just hanging out with family and letting the day set the pace! I love movie marathons! You go girl- real life will be back before you know it-get a few more movies/books in before it comes back!

I am glad you’ve had all this time to lounge around. It is good for a person to just have some downtime. Kinda like hitting a “reset” button.
