August 28:

• Texting about books with Suki all day long.
• Getting my van back from the repairman - I no likey being without wheels.
• Sharing a real belly laugh with my coworkers today over Ms. Piggy.

August 27:

• Shannina language.
• Finishing a good book that makes me cry, laugh, think, and thank my lucky stars.

August 26:

• Daughters that clean the house after school - as a sweet surprise for their Momma.

August 25:

• Rain. Lots and lots of rain.

August 24:

• Matinee with my friend Angie.
• I am blessed to have an awesome possum-wrangling husband. ‘Nuff said.

August 23:

• Spent the day with my hubby and kids; napped, watched a movie, ate dinner out. What a treat!

August 22:

• A day off. Hallelujah!
• Eating lunch with Luby at school - she loves that!
• Cleaned the house - what a sweet relief to have it done.

August 21:

• My birthday girl: Suki

August 19:

• No waiting in line at Wal-Mart. That is not a blessing, it’s a MIRACLE!
• Texting with Suki, off and on all week Miss that girl.

August 18:

• After school, my girls got all their homework done without me reminding them 97 times.
• Freshly rearranged furniture - in positions my girls picked out!
• Having lunch with my hubby nearly every day since his office has moved to a temporary location next door to MY office! Love that…
• Open house at Luby’s school…. beaming with pride & joy over how fabulous she’s doing so far!

August 17:

• A quiet morning with my beloved coffee and a movie - my favorite way to start the day
• Chatting with my precious friend Shannon - who encouraged me to get this page up and running!
• Having ALL the laundry DONE! Woo stinkin Hoo!

August 16:

• A Saturday afternoon nap
• My young daughters that get a BIG laugh outta their parents
• Enjoying the challenges and stories of Olympic athletes with our girls - this is the first set of games that they really have gotten into!
