Hi sweet baby girl,

This has been one of the roughest weeks you’ve ever had and I’m sorry for that. But, I wanted to tell you that I’m so proud of you! Despite how sick you’ve been, you have managed to keep your precious sense of humor through it all. You are witty and quick-thinking and funny with a capitol F and for that, I thank you. I don’t know if I could have handled all the lack of sleep and vomiting without it! Not to mention how brave you were at the doctor’s office, being poked and prodded and swapped up the nose. Even the doctor laughed when she delivered the verdict of a positive flu test and all you could say was, “Aww, pooey“.

This couldn’t make for a worse Spring Break memory, huh? But, we’ll get through this. I promise.
