Fall

Saturday was a cool and crisp day, full of the promise of winter to soon be nipping our noses. I am definitely a *summer* girl – nothing makes me happier than a bright sunny sky and lots of blue above my head. But…. I have to admit… there is still much beauty to see before the grey winter skies arrive.
We drove out to a country farm to buy some hay bales, pumpkins and mums. I kept asking my hubby to stop so I could take pictures – the view was gorgeous.
If it wasn’t for the acres of ragweed fields we passed along the way, I might even consider living out there. But since ragweed and Luby don’t get along too well (not to mention ME either!) I just prefer to look and take pictures and head back to town!
And here’s what we did with our goodies:
Shadow, the cat, thinks he is part of the arrangement, evidently. See him on the left?

Now, did you really call me a ‘galoot’??? HAHAHAHA!!! The last person to call me that was….. let me think…. Oh yeah!! YOU!!! Way to crack me up!!
Hope you’re having a wonderful, relaxing Sunday.
