Guess what?!
I’m in Texas to visit my sweet friend, Shannon, for her birthday. We’ve been planning this trip for a while but…..she didn’t realize that I was in cahoots with a few of her Texas friends to arrive a day earlier than she expected and be a part of throwing her a surprise 40th birthday party.
5 best things of this week:
1. The look of absolute shock on Shannon‘s face when I opened the door at her party.
2. All the thought and preparation these wonderful Texas women put into the planning for Shannon. I just planted the seed and they did ALL the work!!
3. Shannon’s friend Jamee came to pick me up at the airport. And then she let me wreak havoc in her kitchen. 
4. The 100 styrofoam Sonic cups making it on the plane uncrushed.
5. My precious girls and wonderful husband letting me come to Texas!!
