Friday Five, 14th Edition

5 Random Moments from my week:
1. Beebo announced she was going to do some sit ups. Luby said to Beebo:
“Well get cooking, good looking!!”
hahahahahehehehehohohoho
2. Stopped by an antique shop on a whim and ended up with this wooden box:
Once I paint it, it’ll look good in the kitchen. I’m going to keep the plastic bag that holds bird seed in it, for easy refilling the bird feeders. And…. it is heavy enough, it’ll keep the bag from constantly tipping over and spilling out bird seed.
(And… if one of the girls misbehave, it’ll be a perfect “Time-out” seat!!!)
3. While Mr. Lucky has been out of town this week, I gave my girls the choice of: movies, swimming, or shopping.
They picked shopping!! Girls after my own heart! 
4. I spent nearly an hour on the phone with my old friend Patti the other night, reminiscing about Angie. She called in tears and we talked until we were both laughing. That’s the way it always is when you’re mourning some one, isn’t it? All the good memories manage to outweigh the sorrow.
We must carry on.
5. I love love love the Kindle app on my iPhone. I’ve been reading a LOT more than I ever dreamed I would….because it’s just so convenient – it’s a book that is ALWAYS with me!
(Did you know there’s a Kindle for PC? and it’s FREE too? And it syncs with your phone so that you’re always in the same place whether you’re reading on the pc or the phone? Awesommmmme!!)

Kindle app? I love it, have it on my phone, but not on the laptop, or I would never get off this thing. But then again I have the Sony Reader so I download books all the time. I do love downloading audio books to my iphone to listen to while I am waiting or bored.
What color will you paint the box?
Your girls need time outs? Say it ain’t so? I thought they were perfectly behaved, what with a role model like you, mom?
