Goodbye, for now….

By the time you are reading this, I’ll be headed back to the airport for the return trip home. My days here in Texas with my dear friend Shannon have been fun and relaxing and over far too soon. But, since my darling girls and Mr. Lucky are all awaiting me at home – I can’t be too sad to leave. as much as I enjoy being with Shannon, I sure miss my family.
We managed to squeeze in one more movie Sunday afternoon (“Taken” with Liam Neeson) with was one big adrenaline rush nearly from start to finish. I’d seen it once before but Shannon hadn’t yet so we went to see it. She enjoyed it – but jumped and covered her eyes quite a bit!
It was a great long weekend. I’m glad I came. Shannon is a great host – barely letting me lift a finger to do anything. (Dork) I love her dearly and these times we get together only further solidify our friendship. I’ve definitely got a few things to share with you once I am home.
