Happy Birthday Suki

Twenty-four years ago today, I gave birth to a precious 7 lb daughter that would grow up to be one of my greatest joys, my greatest loves, and one of my three greatest legacy’s left after I am gone from this life.
I was far too young to be a good parent in many ways but Lord knows I tried. Somehow magically, despite my failures and shortcomings as a young mother, Suki has grown to be a sensitive, compassionate and strong woman. I am proud of her – and honored to be her mother.
I love you, Suki.
