Home Sweet Home

We’re home. Rolled in about midnight… I’m still tired but was wide AWAKE at 5:30am anyway.
My dogs are happy to see us. And me them. I missed their furry faces.
My house/dogsitter didn’t water a single flower pot outside so in the scorching weather we missed last week, all of our flowers are dead.
Sheesh. How difficult is it to do 3 things: Feed & water the dogs and cat, let them outside at regular intervals and water the plants. ?? Is that NOT what I’m paying you for?

Beccaon 08 Jun 2008 at 11:07 am 1Welcome home Dory!
But did you specify watering the plants, maybe she thought you said think about watering the plants, and that is what she did!
How did the animals survive?
Glad that you are home!
Hugs,
Becca
LOL… Um, NO… I specifically said, “Water these flowers here” pointing at them. The animals did well, but boy were they happy to see us.
thotladyon 08 Jun 2008 at 12:10 pm 2Welcome home! That is too bad about your flowers.
Did you get a nice tan while you were away?
Yes, I did. I needed it too!
Jenon 08 Jun 2008 at 3:36 pm 3Glad you made it home safe! Sorry about your flowers.
I’m glad she remembered to feed & water the pooches!
Oh my… me too! I spoke to her a while ago.. she said she DID water them. LOL… me thinks she might have ONCE. I’ll have to take a pic and let you tell me what you think. Oh well, its just plants. My dogs are fine, that’s what matters, I suppose.
Stacyon 08 Jun 2008 at 8:19 pm 4Welcome home!
Maybe she watered them in the middle of the day when it was so hot and they got scorched and died. I have done that before. I learned after the first time. Sorry
You’re right, maybe she did.
megon 08 Jun 2008 at 10:36 pm 5Awww- that stinks

Welcome home, anyhow
Yeah, I was surprised about the dentist, too- didn’t know they had Sat hours until he offered me the appointment times (I’m having 2 crowns replaced), but they are closed on Mondays.
Oh well, that makes it not so bad then, still 5 days, just shifted. I’m sure there are patients that really appreciate the Saturday hours. We tried it once many years ago but too many ppl would fail to keep their appts and we’d stand around all day with nothing to do.
Shannonon 08 Jun 2008 at 11:32 pm 6Welcome home sweet friend! Now rest up- for your next trip!!!:)
LOL Yes ma’am, I will!
