Yes, I think you are right - Weimies and German Shorthairs are cousins or something. ;) One of my friends is involved with an exclusively Weimeraner /German Shorthair Rescue group here in Manhattan, so there must be a connection somehow. Tanner is a sweetie and I have never seen my husband so in love with a pet before. It warms my heart how attached he is to his new puppy! I hope he will fit into our family as well as your sweet Lily! Going away is always fun but nothing beats home, does it?
