    Growing up, my parents used these for ketchup and mustard just like in a diner. The ketchup bottle read “Catsup” (which I refuse to recognize) with a waitress carrying a tray of food. The mustard bottle didn’t have any recognizable image that I can remember.

    But it didn’t occur to me until just now that they probably came from my aunt’s diner in town. Mom used to work there after her first husband died to support herself and my older brothers and sister. How’s that for inspiration (memory anyway)?
