Lucky Dorito

While out Christmas shopping, Mr. Lucky and I found a wonderful soft and snugly-feeling blanket that reminded us both of my magic sleeping blankie. It was charcoal grey and bigger than mine. We ooh’ed and ahh’ed and then we both walked away from it. An aisle or two later, I decided to go back for a second look.

We remembered Lena’s boyfriend comment on the fact that her blankie wasn’t quite long enough for him. She and I both tend to curl up when sleeping or watching tv, with our legs tucked up under us… so we fit fine under a throw. Since he’s a man, he does the typical man thing – he tends to stretch out, which means either his feet or his shoulders/arms are uncovered.

We decided to give him this for Christmas:

I cracked myself up with my own homemade sign I put on it. Thankfully, he seemed to like it. And of course…. you know I had to get one for my favorite guy, Mr. Lucky.

(Sure didn’t want him trying to use MINE!)
