Don’t we women love our shoes???

Nothing beats the thrill of shoe shopping …. the smell of leather, the feel of a new insole against the soles of our feet, taking them for a test drive down the aisle and back. Shoes are kind of like browsing a book store, I randomly run my fingertips over the toes of shoes, picking some up and turning them this way and that, looking for my size – even if I know I wouldn’t ever be able to wear them. I seldom wear heels but that doesn’t mean I don’t LOVE the look of them or ogle them on other ladies’ feet. Buying new shoes is akin to buying a new purse to me….I can’t hardly wait to get them ON MY FEET. (Similar to the way I’m putting my stuff from my old purse into my new purse almost before I make it to my car!)

And I know I am not alone in this lofty pursuit of an awesome shoe.

Even if some might call my choice an UGLY shoe.
