Need a new lamp?

So…. my Mommy walks in to the big creepy place that smells of a million dogs (yuck… I soooo do not smell like a dog! It’s disgusting!) and I am beside myself with joy to see her. THEY begin to speak, telling my mommy…. big complicated words like: laser surgery, perforations for drainage, keep bandaged for three days, sutures for 3 weeks…. All the while Mommy is looking at me, saying, “Oh you poor girl. Look at you.” I’m giving her my pitiful-est face, knowing all the while that Mommy will take this big ugly contraption off my head if I pour on the charm.

THEY continue to talk, more words then I want Mommy to hear.

…. no flapping your head, Lillie.

…. no trying to paw the bandage off, Lillie.

…. must take big HORSE pills for days, Lillie. blecht!

…. must wear a goofy looking e-collar, Lillie.

…. must be a good girl, Lillie.

Yeah yeah, whatever. Let’s get out of here Mommy. Let’s go home, Mommy. I tug and pull her out the door of the big stinky dog place to the van. I see FREEDOM in my near future!!

Hey…. this big contraption thingy around my head makes it impossible for me to jump into the van because the bottom edge keeps getting caught on the door! Gosh darnit! Mommy helps me up. I pour on the big brown eyed looks of love, mixed with the proper amount of pitiful-ness, still hoping Mommy will save me from this thing around my neck. She says, “Sit still Lillie.” I’m thinking… “Sure just take this thing OFFFFFF!” But she just closed the door and got in to her seat. Hmmm. Ok… I can wait until we get home.

But then… we get home and Mommy says… “Gotta keep it on Lillie. THEY said it was important.”

I don’t care what THEY said! Come on Mommy…. take it off!! Please!!!

I keep running into everything! This thing is three times bigger then my head! Holy MOLY!

Just kill me now.

I give up. I hang my head in shame at how goofy I look.

Poor Lillie. Her poor little ear. It looks like another paw they way it is all wrapped up. How does she eat and drink with that thing on? I want to hear her side of that.

I wish Lillie didn’t have to wear that big contraption, she is running into everything…. but it will be off soon.

Poor Lillie!!lol She is funny looking, though.. and boy, does she have the “pitiful” face down!! hehe Poor baby.. doesn’t it just hurt to have to do things and you know they can’t understand??

OH MY GOODNESS!!! Such a pitiful puppy! I hope she is coping okay. Great job on the narration of what she went through! You are such a good mommy, even is Lillie doesn’t think so!

Poor baby. We do have a time with our animals, huh? My one-eyed cat is back to 2 eyes, finally. And we’re getting the new wing at the animal hospital named after us. ha ha

Ohhhhh. Now that is just pitiful. Poor poor Lillie. And I don’t think many dogs can look as pitiful as a weimie can.

I hope she heals very soon!
