Ah come on… boys are wonderful! I wouldn’t even know what to do with a girl and all that drama… I am fairly positive that my husband was as unruly and devilish as his three sons were/are even though his mother claims he was the sweetest child ever. Seriously have my doubts on THAT…

My mother in law told me that she suspects my husband had ADHD, long before it was being diagnosed in the mainstream. I have a hard time buying that – he is so quiet and reserved now…

And as far as raising boys/girls, I will never know what it is like to raise a little girl. I wanted a girl so badly when I was pregnant with Garrett. Now, however, I am glad to have boys. Again, God knew what He was doing! Boys don’t worry about their hair, what they wear, they aren’t concerned with much except what’s for dinner. No mood swings, no drama. I’ll take my stinky, ornery boys and like it!

I love having boys. I feel the same way you do, that God knew I couldn’t handle girls…lol I love the busy little boy stage and stepping on blocks and cars. I could never handle the teenage drama.

How different we are…lol

My MIL tells stories on Chris all the time- he was ADHD & apparently never slept until I met him; some of her tales were hair-raising
But you know, my boys were much less exhausting then my daughter- they were adventureous but sensible (for the most part), but Jess was (and still is) too impulsive & reckless for anyone’s good (as witnessed by my white hair!)

I am the momma of three boys first and THEN the girl. Yes, boys are always into something and on the go. But girls! I was SO unprepared for the drama!!! She is pretty even keeled today but the school yrs were something else!

I swear that my husband was the geeky “Dennis The Menace” but his mother swears he was an angel. I wonder if she isn’t just a more than a little biased or forgetting what he was like since he hasn’t been in her care in 30 years?

Yes. I hear stories all the time about how his Star Wars action figures never lasted very long…mainly because they usually found themselves in some sort of fire or explosion. *sigh* And I do have a boy…and, yeah, it’s a totally different ballgame! lol
