Remember the other day when I blogged about combining an old Singer sewing machine legs with the table top from a child-sized table? Well, I had to do something with the matching Singer legs. Right?
This is where Mr. Lucky comes in.
He very graciously offered to build me a tabletop. Ok, so there might have been a wee bit of begging involved but don’t fault the man for begging to get into the action since Shannon and I were having so much fun. Mwaaaahaaahaaaaaa
After much discussion, we decided to build the table a little longer and more narrow than the other one, so they’d look similar but different… on purpose. Instead of like we’d screwed up on accident.
It now fits perfectly along this wall. The mirror above it used to hang vertically, attached to a medicine cabinet in one of our bathrooms. I separated it from the medicine cabinet and repainted it white, attaching new hardware so it would hang horizontally. I love it now!
The photographs are all mine or Lena’s from the beach. And that blue lamp on the table…. it was banana-yellow when I bought it at Goodwill for $3. Love me some spray paint!!
