I am forever posting pictures of my sweet weimaraner Lillie. The dog loves to pose for me, seriously. I just have to say, “Let me get the camera,” and she KNOWS what that means! lol She’ll sit ever so still in any position I put her in, dressed up in any get-up. I usually am talking to her the whole time and her tail is wagging, which leads me to believe – she doesn’t mind one bit.

But, I think the real reason she doesn’t mind is because she LOVES me. We have this bond of affection that is undeniable…. just a few minutes of hanging out with her puts me in a better mood. Who can look at those big adoring eyes and not feel the weight of the world lift away?
And…. I let her pretend she’s a teeny little lapdog. Each night when I curl into the recliner, her she comes, tail wagging. I let her share my chair and believe me, that is no easy feat. The dog weighs about 70 lbs! Sometimes it’s all I can do to keep the foot part from trying to fold up under the weight. I have to put a little blanket down so her feet don’t fall through the cracks. It’s pretty comical looking, I’m sure. I had Beebo grab a shot of us today… (that’s my favorite flannel jammie pants):
So now you know. The real reason she lets me take silly pics of her… because I share my chair.

She ALWAYS perches on me when all of us are in the living room. If I lay down on the floor with her, she’ll go forehead to forehead with me and close her eyes while I talk to her and tell her how sweet she is. lol Aren’t our doggie friends wonderful???

All dogs want is for you to love them unconditionally the way they love you. That is not too much to ask is it?
