#11 Well, when you consider you are coming at someone with a dental instrument of torture while wearing a mask….why wouldn’t you feel more in control or command. You could probably get your patients to bark if you wanted to.
Try wearing the mask in public while holding a pick in one hand…see what happens to your confidence then.

3. Same. I feel very embarrassed, like a little kid, if I’m really yelled at. You can just watch me “turtle” and run. I close down completely.
7. I think every night scheduling sucks!LOL Except “Lost” night! I don’t watch tv, unless I know I want to watch a specific program..
11. I’m the same way, although not as much, I don’t think.. I can talk to strangers, it’s just MUCH easier when I do it as a nurse. I think we’re more confident in our skills, and we have an identity, instead of just a “what you see is what you get”!LOL It’s easier to foresee what is likely to happen, so you don’t get too surprised to gracefully respond.
12. I do occasionally think of nice things to do, but I wish I thought of more things, like Shannon does. I just don’t always think of those things, although I would love to be MUCH more that way!!

#3 totally agree, same thing happens to me.
#6 I didn’t know that! I had that dream, as you know it came true, … almost lost my shirt, until ex-husband bailed me out. thanks ex-husband. The crazy thing is the thought of it still excites me .. and scares me at the same time.
#5, #12 that great, I love kind gestures, I need to be more like that.
