Thursday Thirteen, 6th Ed.

Thirteen Things I’ve learned this week:
1. If you smash a finger between a rod iron bed and a pair of pliers and yell out obscenities – your kids will be SHOCKED.
2. Watching Mr. Lucky mow the yard in a perfect diagonal pattern, exactly opposite of the diagonal pattern he mowed in last week CRACKS ME UP.
3. No matter how much Luby claims she loves her newly redone room she has still ended up in our bed twice this week. What’s up with that?
4. It makes me laugh each morning when Lillie bounds out of my room and into Beebo’s bed as I leave for work. What a nut that dog is. A spoiled nut. She’ll be so unhappy when the girls go back to school.
5. I don’t care what brand it is, Fat Free Ranch will never hold a candle to Ranch. Or even Lite Ranch, for that matter.
6. Regardless of what time I eat breakfast, my tummy starts growling at 10:30. You could set your clock by it.
7. Some days I wish I was born rich so I could choose to work. Or not.
8. Call me Ugly Shoe Girl. I love my ugly shoes.
9. Taking multiple days off during the summer to travel or to have guests visit means one thing for sure: Ever-increasing-waistline.
10. I absolutely truly positively adore some (many) of my patients. They make me smile, they make me cry, they share their lives and their families with me. How fabulous that the Lord allows me to use a profession I love to touch so many lives.
11. I suck at making cakes in a bundt pan. I doubt I will ever master it. 
12. I have to quit watching shows on Food Network because they all make me hungry.
13. I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, if I ever turn in my resignation at work – it will be on a Tuesday.

Nothing beats the taste of real ranch dressing especially when the powdered kind is mixed with sour cream and put on a baked potato! I wear Crocs, now there is the epitomy of any ugly shoe! I love the Food Network, that is where Mitch gets some of his really good recipes! But I love HGTV!

@ Jen – Because Tuesdays are very LONG and STRESSFUL days at my office after we enacted a new policy a few months ago. I really really hate it and always leave feeling exhausted, frustrated and miserable.
@Becca – I love HGTV too! And, I love ya girl but you’re right – crocs ARE the epitomy of an ugly shoe!!
Not that anyone would be interested! lol
I dress my feet for comfort and practicality, not style. As obvious by my shoes. I could do a whole Thursday 13 post with pics of my ugly shoes.
