Snippets of random conversations:
“How does this look?”
“Hey! You look like a lima bean!”
“Oh great, thanks.”
“Well, it’s better than looking like a turd!”
“True. Good point.” Yeah… there is a reason she said that. You’d never believe me if I toldcha though.

Five minutes later….
“Honey, how does this look? Luby said I looked like a lima bean. Do I?”
He looks me over…. hesitates a moment too long, prompting me to say, “What? You thinking I look like a green tootsie roll?”
He looked at me like I was nuts and said… “Well, I’ve never SEEN a green tootsie roll so it’s hard to say….. “ smiling at me.
“Oh stop! Seriously… is this ok?”
“Honey, you do NOT look like a green tootsie roll. You look good.”
And just as I was about to walk away, convinced… he added, “But it really doesn’t matter if you look like a green tootsie roll or not - we gotta GO! No time to change!”
I stopped, turned around to look at him and said…. “You could have just stopped at *you look good* and left it at that… now I think you just said it so we could leave! Have you not learned yet to just LIE??” lol

As it turns out, what I was wearing was perfect. We were at an outdoor wedding and the wind was so stinkin strong that I thought we were all going to blow away! I was in linen capris and very THANKFUL I was not in a dress like all the other females who were battling the elements to keep from pulling a *Marilyn Monroe*!
