Meet my friend Carla, also known as Ms. Kitty in the comments.
She is a nut.
She had two jobs on the plane flying to Vegas:
1) Hold all the emergency items for the flight attendant to demonstrate as needed. (Hence the photo opportunity with the oxygen mask!)
2) In the event of a crash, she was shown how to open the emergency door – which we were sitting right next to on one leg of the flight.
Her first response?
She said, “We can’t crash. This shirt would make me look fat on tv when they come to interview me about opening the door!”
