Well now …. lookie at this craziness!

You can imagine my surprise and major uneasiness when Luby called from her Daddy’s cell phone and said, “Mom, could you come outside a second?”

I said, “Why? What are you doing?”

She said, “Just come outside for a sec, k?”

I’m thinking, as I walk to the front door …. seems like he was going out, mentioning something about lights on the house….ding, ding, ding in my head! Oh Lordy, please tell me that he is NOT on the roof…. with. my. children.

I stopped long enough to grab the camera. Just in case.

And guess what I found?

Yep. You guessed it. My kids on the ROOF.

Needless to say, this momma bear grumbled something about reckless, careless, and ridiculous and returned to the house.

Dorks.

All three of them.

There seems to be a lot of *tempting fate* going around these days. It’s just about more than I can handle right now.

    Yikes! I think it’s a dad thing. My son would probably have gone up to the roof, but then been too scared to come down. I hope they all got back on solid ground safely…oh, and that your Christmas lights turned out pretty.

    Well, it is a cute picture. But I agree, the first time hubby took Teen up on the roof, my heart sank.

    Oh I hate when the dads do that!! I think hubby has had both kids up on the roof when he was shingling. & Just last night as we were driving ?? somewhere, here was this house with the dad and little girl up on the roof putting up lites. And I said “oh, get that little girl down from there” (just inside my car not at him) but my family knows how I freak out about heights.

    As a kid, I thought it was neat when Dad would let me come up on the roof with him, but now? As a mom? NO WAY! Get those children down from there, you crazy man!!! roflol

    Oh, Lordy- that would’ve freaked me out, too!
    I do not understand the facination with hanging out on the roof- it’s cold, windy, & no comfortable way to sit down :-P

    Yep! That’s a scary thing to behold! I don’t do roofs of houses. If I can’t reach what I need from a ladder on the ground it just isn’t happening. I would’ve gone in the house too.

    Scary. I cringe when my husband gets on the roof to blow the leaves off. I stand down below and follow him around…like I could catch him if he fell.

    I love getting on the roof and if we could get mom up there we could get a really good picture. I love looking out at the roof..it is so much fun.

    Oh Beebo, I don’t know how much your momma is gonna like hearing that…hey did you get a glimpse of the candy your momma got? Is she sharing? Tell her someone has access to a lot of coal to send her for Christmas if she isn’t! ;-)

    I’d have loved going up on the roof with my dad! We did everything else with him!!LOL Mom would just grumble and go inside!

    My husband is terrified of heights – there is no way he would ever willingly get up on our roof! I like the pictures – cute!

    I probably would have gotten the camera to record the event and then yelled at everyone to get down. LOL
