Who’s turning 13?

I know, I know!!! <raises hand high in air!!>
Somehow, in the craziest turn of events, thirteen years have passed since Beebo arrived with her beautiful little egghead. (It rounded out quite nicely though.) (Thank goodness.)
It always amazes me how quickly our children grow up. It doesn’t feel like thirteen years could have passed since her birth. Really. I remember there being moments when my babies were newborn and not sleeping well and we were sleep-deprived parents and we felt like the madness would just last forever! Ok, I confess…. it mighta been just me that felt that way.
And now she’s a TEENAGER!! Goodness gracious!

And Dory, it’s not just you. When I was up to my elbows in messes and sleep deprived, I too wished it away. And now they are grown and gone…but I get to be a grandma soon. I hear THAT is wonderful too. Enjoy her and cherish the time you have.
