When I was going for more of a Tuscan look in the kitchen, I had gotten a pendant light to go above the sink that had lots of red in it. But, with the newly painted kitchen cabinets in their lovely green… it didn’t match.

So I decided there’s no time like the present to learn how to rewire something. Right? With a pretty new white pendant globe ready to replace the other one, I got busy.

Oh, and yes, I did turn off the electricity first… I’m not that silly.

I almost finished it myself too. But… since the electricity was off – I got really hot trying to balance on the sink and reach up to reconnect the wiring so, Mr. Lucky came to my rescue.

Looks good to me! I also got some new faux-wood blinds and need to remove all the excess slats… just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Wonder if it’ll take me 5 years?
