My sweet friend Shannon and her daughter Madison have been visiting at our home since last Thursday. I am enjoying every single minute of it – which goes without saying. Those of you that know me, know that I have a little issue with keeping up with the housework around here and I tend to be a *stasher* (shhh, don’t tell anyone). Luckily, Shannon is the type of friend that loves me – regardless of the dog hair around the edges of my hard wood floors and the ever-growing pile of dirty laundry. Actually, it might make her crazy but she hides it well.

Those of you that read Shannon’s blog already know from the sweet and funny stories she’s shared involving Madison what a HOOT that girl can be! (Go read today if you don’t regularly – it is seriously a HOOT!) My girls get along great with her and it’s a true joy having her around. Lots of laughter and chatter – I’m sure going to miss that girl when she leaves.

I think Beebo and Luby will certainly miss her too. They need her to complete the hear no evil, see no evil and speak no evil threesome.

They spend a great deal of their time making faces for the camera. No matter how many times we’ve told them to smile nicely, they end up with some goofy expressions.

We finally decided…. “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.”
