“Look at this,” he says, lifting my hand where we could both see my wedding band and engagement ring.

“In this, is a lot of love.

It was given in love and it symbolizes that love.

It’s unending.

It’s strong.

That ring is on your finger for a reason.

Because YOU are my wife.

Because I love YOU…. always and forever.”

Awwwww.

For whatever reason, after nearly 14 years of marriage, my heart soooo needed to hear those words…. spoken unsolicited and without hesitation.

Didn’t I tell you he was precious?

Awww……What an absolutely precious man you are married to. He really knows how to make your day.

I love pics of hands on the wedding day. I just had ours blown up from a little snap pic so that I could hang it.

Oh really? That’s fabulous! I love them too – it’s always been one of my most favorites from our wedding album!

Thank you for the comment–NaComLeavMo is starting up again. We’ve changed it so that sign up opens always on the first of the month (so the next time it opens is July 1) and is open until the 21st. And then there is a commenting frenzy from the 21st until the 28th. And then it starts all over again a few days later. People could keep it up for a week better than we could do for a month.

Hmmm. Now, that sounds interesting…. wonder if I can remember to sign up? lol

It doesn’t matter how many years you have been married, it is always wonderful to hear those words.

So many husbands say, “you know I love you, I shouldn’t have to say it all the time”. Well maybe not all the time, but we need to hear it from their lips every so often.

So sweet.
